Mcleodganj, residence of His Holiness Dalai Lama the 14th offers in- depth knowledge of Tibetan culture with several exceptionally built monasteries. Apart from that you can experience the local culture and visit local markets and waterfalls. Triund is a small hill station in the Kangra district in the state of Himachal Pradesh, India. Triund is a part of Dharamkot. Triund is at the foot of the Dhauladhars at a height of 2,828 m. It is the basecamp for the Lake Glacier and the Indrahar Pass trek. The trek is a small, beginners level but offers exceptional views of the mountains and offers a pleasant lush green trail. Some of the peaks visible from the top are; Mon Peak, Gauri Junda, Talang Jot, Kundali Pass, Toran Peak, Cairn Peak, Camel Peak etc.
